Well, today I entered my song "Sophie's Eyes" in the YouBloom Song Contest, Heat 2. I would really appreciate your vote. The voting for Heat 2 begins February 14th. All you have to do is go to the YouBloom SongContest homepage, create a free user account and clock on "Listen & Vote". When you get to that page you can search for J. D. Haring or Sophie's Eyes in the search box near the top of the page. There you'll see the song listing and information as to when you can vote.

I just thought I'd give an update here so all of you know what's coming. Here are the rules of the contest:
ReplyDeleteThe 3 qualifying contests
Heats 1-8
* All songs entered compete.
* Voting is open to all YouBloom members.
* The 3 songs with the most votes in each heat are entered in the quarterfinal.
Quarterfinal
* The 3 winning songs from each of the 8 heats (3 x 8 = 24 songs) compete.
* Voting is open to all YouBloom members.
* The 12 songs with the most votes are entered in the semifinal.
Semifinal
* The 12 winning songs from the quarterfinal compete.
* A panel of judges selects 6 songs for the final.
Final
* The 6 selected songs from the semifinal compete.
* Voting is open to all YouBloom members.
* The 4 songs with the most votes win the qualifying contest and are entered in the annual semifinal upon the signing of a consultancy agreement with YouBloom.
So, get out and vote for Sophie's Eyes and get all your frieds to do it too, OK?
